Artist Statement: While I was hiking at Algonquin park with my family, I spotted the mushrooms growing in the woods with the late afternoon sun peering through the trees…We, as Deaf/hard of hearing people, build on the past to become what we are today. With good nourishment and encouragement, we thrive!
